It's a beautiful day!

What's Up a the Shop

Sound of the Woods 3
We just received the last fabric needed for this beautiful design.

We will be kitting this up soon. We think you will love the subtle shades of taupe and gray with touches of silver and gold metallic. It is just beautiful and the pattern is easy to sew as well.

What's New
More Grunge from Moda has arrived. A beautiful saturated color called "Sunflower" and 2 new Grunge "Hits the Spot" colors! The first is "tangerine" and the next is "manilla". Our customers are finding so many ways to use this fabric.

Kids Sew
Summer is here and Mary has several projects planned for this group. Last class they chose fabrics, used the ruler and rotary cutter, and sewed. You should see the straight seams they had with our new gadget! Perfect seam allowances and straight seams were so easy they finished the project with French seams! Smiles from everyone!

Shelby and Carley have picked a simple quilt pattern for their next project. If you have a child aged 10-14 you think is ready and would like to join them, call Mary for more info.

Old Glory Days
The Greater Golden Valley Quilters Guild will have their annual quilt show on Friday and Saturday, June 30-July 1, at the Rotary Building on the historic downtown Clinton Square.
And remember those straight and perfect seams on those pillowcases? We will be there with a demonstration of our new products by the designer and manufacturer themselves. We were very impressed with this demo at Quilt Market!
So we have booked them to show you the products in person! Perfect seam allowances of every common size can be achieved on any machine. And you can easily (and I really mean that!) move this gadget from one size to another or from one machine to another. Yes, finally a perfect 1/4" seam!

Cruise Night on the Square!
We will be open later on Saturday for this event. Stop in to see what is new,  enjoy the vintage cars on the square, and grab a meal at one of our local restaurants.

Sew Long for Now,
Mary and Cheryl
